My job experience consists mostly of side jobs, where I have explored different roles within customer service. This has given me a broad perspective and a deeper understanding of different personalities, as well as the importance of always being accommodating.
In 2015, I started my first job at a café. This was an important milestone as it was my first step into customer service. I learned a lot about myself and developed my ability to provide good service to different kinds of people.
In 2018, I started working at a restaurant. This gave me broader service experience as well as a better understanding of food and beverages. It was a good complement to my café experience, as I met new people while still working within customer service. This job lasted only for the summer.
After graduating high school in 2019, I started two new jobs—one at a supermarket and the other at an elderly care home. These were two completely different jobs, but both gave me valuable perspectives on human interactions and service. I also improved my endurance and adaptability, as this period involved long working hours and sometimes double shifts.
In 2023, I worked at a bar, where I was able to apply my bartending knowledge. This job required high speed and late hours, further improving my service skills.
Currently, I work at a gym reception, where I meet a lot of different and interesting people. It is a calmer environment but still requires strong customer service skills and a great deal of problem-solving.
