Umeå FC

This project focused entirely on graphic design. The goal was to create a new jersey for the local football team, Umeå FC. The design is inspired by the county bird, the curlew. The wings on the back of the jersey symbolize the players flying across the football field like a flock of birds.

Below is the designed logo for Umeå FC, created before the jerseys. There were two different designs, and I chose to go with the two on the right. The blue color was inspired by the river that runs through Umeå.

I worked on this project independently, creating the designs in Adobe Illustrator. It was my first time using Illustrator, and I found it really enjoyable. Since then, I have become increasingly familiar with Illustrator and Adobe's tools in general.
